The Middleville and District Museum started in an 1860s schoolhouse in the village of Middleville, Ontario. The museum building expanded in the 1970s and then again in 2013 to help accommodate its growing collection which includes a pioneer cabin, pioneer tools, horse drawn hearse, and an entire classroom! The Museum is home to an extensive collection of local artifacts, archival and genealogical records. Come step into the past and explore pioneer history.
We are normally open from the May Victoria Day weekend through to Thanksgiving.
COVID-19 Protocols:
Please note that masks are mandatory in the museum building. We will also be collecting visitor information for contact tracing purposes.
