Be sure to stop and browse the merchandise available when you visit the Middleville and District Museum this season.
The Middleville and District Museum is please to announce its new look. Our new brand incorporates a white pine branch and colours drawn from the Lanark Highlands tartan; white, black, blue, green, gray, and brown.
The white pine is part of our heritage. It was the focus of much of Ontario’s early lumber trade. This particular tree’s importance was recognized on May 1st, 1984, when the eastern white pine became the official tree of Ontario (Arboreal Emblem Act). It is understood to represent our province’s vast forests. Some say it is the tree upon which the province was built.
Purchases may be made at the Museum with cash, e-transfer, cheque, Credit or Debit card.
